I currently work in the field of Statistical Ecology and am employed as a post-doctoral research associate by the National Centre for Statistical Ecology (NCSE) at the University of Kent, Canterbury. The NCSE is a joint research centre between the Universities of Kent, Cambridge and St Andrews and more information can be found at www.ncse.org.uk. I successfully defended my PhD, The combined analysis of multi-site mark-recapture-recovery and census data, supervised by Professor Byron Morgan, in May 2008. Following my marriage in September 2008 I changed my surname from Borysiewicz to McCrea. My PhD and earlier publications are under my maiden name. My current research interests are: - Multi-state mark-recapture models
- Model selection techniques for complex models
- Combining multiple data sets
- Goodness of fit and model diagnostics
- Software development to widen the application of new statistical methodology
